Striped Dungarees

Our dungaree PJ bottoms are designed for ages 12 months to 16 years and are ideal for keeping the most determined escapologist fully clothed.

  • Closed feet with a layer of woven cotton over the front of the foot and under the toe to minimise the impact of ankle rubbing and ‘toe scratching’.
  • Buttoned back fastenings make our dungarees very tricky for little ones to take off by themselves, meaning they stay on all night.
  • Woven cotton edging ensures that the shape of the openings is maintained, minimising the ability for little hands to get inside clothing to scratch or access their nappy or pants.
  • Loose fitting 100% cotton jersey fabric ensures that little ones stay cool and comfortable and sensitive skin is not irritated.
  • Effective dungarees designed for toddlers, children and teenagers with eczema but equally effective in combating scratching at other skin irritations, including chicken pox, psoriasis, scab picking, post surgical healing and much more.
  • Work particularly well to hold our ScratchSleeves and PJ tops in place. Especially on clever little one’s who manage to take them off easily.
  • Machine washable at 40 degrees using non-biological detergent. Can be tumble-dried.

Delivery

We make every effort to dispatch orders received before 3.00pm UK time Monday to Friday on the same day. On Saturdays we aim to dispatch all orders received before 10.30am UK time on the same day. Very occasionally this is not possible, in which case your order will be dispatched on the next working day. No orders are dispatched on Sunday.

We use the First Class or Airmail service as appropriate, unless the tracked service has been selected at checkout. In some areas we only offer the tracked service, in this case it will be automatically selected at the checkout.

Our shipping rates are set at a flat-rate per order, regardless of how many units you purchase.

We have designed our packaging so that orders of one or two items will fit through standard letter boxes. Your postman should be able to deliver these orders without disturbing you. Larger orders may require you to be available to take delivery and on occasion a signature may be required.

Overseas orders typically take 5-10 working days to arrive, although this does depend on the efficiency of the local postal service.

Orders with EU shipping addresses will be charged VAT at their local rate, this will be added at the checkout and remitted by us to the appropriate country. Please note the website prices include UK VAT which is charged at 0% for children’s sizes and 20% for adult sizes.

Unfortunately we are unable to ship orders of over 150 EUR (including shipping) in the EU.

Non-EU overseas customers are responsible for Import Duty/Tax in their respective countries. We cannot advise you what these costs will be, please consult your local customs office for more information. We will attach the appropriate customs forms to all overseas shipments.

Returns

We believe that you will be delighted with your purchase but understand that there may be occasions where you feel it necessary to return or exchange an item. We aim to keep the process as simple as possible. 

We are always happy to refund or exchange unwashed and unused items in a resalable condition. Please do not wash items or remove tags until you have checked sizing. 

If you need to return your order for a refund or would like to exchange it, we request that you get in touch with us in the first instance. You can either email info@scratchsleeves.co.uk or call us on 01962 890210 (international +44 (0)1962 890210) during our office hours (10am to 3pm UK time, Monday to Friday) to arrange the return. It is much easier and quicker for us to process your return/exchange if we have been advised of it prior.

Once you have contacted us we will be able to advise of the returns procedure relevant to your country.

We advise ordering based on your child’s height and chest measurements. Children’s proportions vary hugely, meaning age range is not always an accurate guide to fit.
