Soft and smooth silk minimises scratching damage, while our longer sleeves ensure that hands can be fully extended.
Our signature silk mitts can be flipped down to cover hands or left open so that little one’s hands are free.
When the mitts are open, our unique shoulder tabs enable the sleeves to be hitched up and out of the way, allowing your child to play without their cuffs getting in the way. These tabs use a novel fabric from GoodCatch which works like traditional Velcro but which is soft and flexible.
The poppers on the neckline make it easy to put on the bodysuit without dragging the fabric over sore faces. Once poppered up they are super secure for itchy little escapologists.

Delivery

We make every effort to dispatch orders received before 3.00pm UK time Monday to Friday on the same day. On Saturdays we aim to dispatch all orders received before 10.30am UK time on the same day. Very occasionally this is not possible, in which case your order will be dispatched on the next working day. No orders are dispatched on Sunday.

We use the First Class or Airmail service as appropriate, unless the tracked service has been selected at checkout. In some areas we only offer the tracked service, in this case it will be automatically selected at the checkout.

Our shipping rates are set at a flat-rate per order, regardless of how many units you purchase.

We have designed our packaging so that orders of one or two items will fit through standard letter boxes. Your postman should be able to deliver these orders without disturbing you. Larger orders may require you to be available to take delivery and on occasion a signature may be required.

Overseas orders typically take 5-10 working days to arrive, although this does depend on the efficiency of the local postal service.

Orders with EU shipping addresses will be charged VAT at their local rate, this will be added at the checkout and remitted by us to the appropriate country. Please note the website prices include UK VAT which is charged at 0% for children’s sizes and 20% for adult sizes.

Unfortunately we are unable to ship orders of over 150 EUR (including shipping) in the EU.

Non-EU overseas customers are responsible for Import Duty/Tax in their respective countries. We cannot advise you what these costs will be, please consult your local customs office for more information. We will attach the appropriate customs forms to all overseas shipments.

Returns

We believe that you will be delighted with your purchase but understand that there may be occasions where you feel it necessary to return or exchange an item. We aim to keep the process as simple as possible.

We are always happy to refund or exchange unwashed and unused items in a resalable condition. Please do not wash items or remove tags until you have checked sizing.

If you need to return your order for a refund or would like to exchange it, we request that you get in touch with us in the first instance. You can either email info@scratchsleeves.co.uk or call us on 01962 890210 (international +44 (0)1962 890210) during our office hours (10am to 3pm UK time, Monday to Friday) to arrange the return. It is much easier and quicker for us to process your return/exchange if we have been advised of it prior.

We advise ordering based on your little one’s wingspan measurement. Children’s proportions vary hugely, meaning age range is not always an accurate guide to fit.
